Catherine Smith

Catherine Smith joins our employment law team, bringing over 12 years of experience helping individuals navigate complex employment and administrative law matters. She offers practical, easy-to-understand advice to clients facing workplace issues, whether it’s reviewing employment contracts, dealing with disputes, or responding to unfair dismissal or disciplinary action.

Catherine has successfully represented clients before the Fair Work Commission and the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Her expertise includes general protection claims, award and policy interpretation, workplace investigations, and misconduct matters.

Outside of work, Catherine serves as a Reserve Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, bringing discipline, insight, and a strong sense of service to her work with clients.
