Wills and Estates

A Will allows you to document your wishes with respect to guardianship arrangements for children, distribution of personally owned assets and how business arrangements entered into during your lifetime are to be dealt with on your death.

An Enduring Power of Attorney allows you to appoint a person or persons to manage your financial affairs and to make decisions about medical treatment and non-financial matters if you lose capacity to make those decisions.

Our lawyers can provide advice in this area and prepare these documents to ensure your wishes are carried out.

Our team can also provide assistance with administration of deceased estates including obtaining probate of a Will and transferring property, shares and other assets to beneficiaries as dictated by a Will.

In the event of an estate dispute, our litigation department can also provide specialist services in this area.

Our key areas of expertise:

  • Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPOA)
  • Probate and other grants of administration
  • Family provision claims
  • Estate administration
