Rebekah Bassano

Rebekah was admitted to practice in 2003 and commenced her legal career in Tasmania, practicing in all areas of the law and during this time developed a particular interest in family law.

Moving to Cairns in 2006, Rebekah has settled into family law practice and recently completed a Masters in Applied Law (Family Law). 

Rebekah has a wide range of experience in all areas of family law from complex property disputes to parenting matters including appealing matters to the Full Court of the Family Court. 

She has particular interest in finding solutions for difficult matters in family law property settlements and has developed a reputation as a highly competent and personable lawyer. 

Rebekah has a strong commitment to developing a depth of understanding of her clients' needs and acting on opportunities to achieve the best possible outcomes.
