Paralegal/Senior Legal Secretary

 We currently seek a Paralegal/Senior Legal Secretary to join our Local Government and Native Title team.  You will provide support to two consultants in the team and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Filing and file management
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Substantial client/file involvement and liaison
  • Monthly billing and monitoring government grants, reconciliations and preparation of funding schedules
  • Dictaphone typing
  • Time sheet data entry
  • Court document preparation and amendment
  • Diary and travel management
  • Other general secretarial/PA duties as required

 To be successful in this position it is essential that you have gained at least 4 years' Paralegal/Senior secretarial experience within a law practice.  You should also possess: 

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Dedication and initiative
  • A strong working knowledge of core MS office applications including powerpoint
  • A fast and accurate typing speed (at least 80 w.p.m.)
  • A driver's licence.

This is a permanent full-time position.  An attractive salary will be provided commensurate with experience.
